Ordering:
Ordering by telephone with a credit card is the fastest way to order. All orders should be placed by phone at (541)741-0809, or if you have any questions you may email them to info@mayagardensinc.com . Please call Monday-Friday between 9AM and 4PM Pacific Time (that’s 12 -7 Eastern). We do this for security reasons and to assure you get the right plant for your application. When emailing in an order please do not include credit card information. Instead, include a contact name and phone number with a time that you would like us to call you back. We will do our best to call you back at that time. If we do not get your email in time to call you, we will email you back to set up another appointment. We will be happy to discuss your Bamboo or Maple questions and help you make a selection that best suits you and your climate. We have tried to include as much information as possible on our web site in order to help you make the best choice for your area.
Spring Orders: (See our shipping page for additional information) Spring shipping begins around March 1st for most of the country and usually finishes up in early June. May and June are our busiest shipping times and shipments can be delayed as much as two or three weeks. Feel free to contact us any time to change your delivery date due to freezing temperatures in your area or to check the status of your order. Email is the best way to reach us, you can contact us here. We also try to pay attention to what the weather is doing in your area before we send your shipment. It is against our policy to expose plants in transit to unseasonably warm or frigid conditions. UPS Ground service to the east coast can take up to 8 days. Unless projected temperature forecasts along ground transit routes are deemed safe for plant shipment, we recommend using UPS 2nd or 3rd Day Air. After you place your order, we can calculate the difference between ground and air service for you and e-mail you with the additional shipping cost.
Summer Orders: Summer shipping to most locations must travel by 2nd or 3rd Day Air. After you place your order, we will e-mail you with the additional shipping cost. If the weather in our area or customer location is too hot, we will delay shipment until temperatures cool down. Shipments to the Pacific Northwest can be sent by ground transit throughout the year, weather permitting
Fall Orders: Gardeners in the South, Pacific Northwest and California may prefer to fall plant their gardens. Our plants are available for fall shipping from mid-September to early November. To allow for fall planting, we ship UPS ground late September through the end of October to northern areas and through November to southern areas, weather permitting.

Claims
Please check your order as soon as you receive it and make sure all items are included and accounted for. In the unlikely event that your order is damaged or items are incorrect or missing, we want to help make it right for you. Please contact us as soon as possible by phone at or e-mail us at info@mayagardensinc.com. We cannot accept responsibility for claims filed more than 10 business days after you have received your order.
Cancellations
Once your order is pulled and ready to ship there will be a 20% re-stocking charge for cancellation. If the plants have already been shipped, you will be charged for the order, including shipping charges. If you return the plants to us in sell-able condition at your expense, your account will be credited for the cost of plants only.
In Case of Damage to a Box.
If your box appears crushed when it arrives, PLEASE DON’T REFUSE DELIVERY. Mention the damage to the driver, but accept the box and open it to determine any damage to the plants. Usually, the plant is flexible enough to sustain the blows without damage or with only minor breakage. Even if there is some damage, give the plant a chance to recover. There is a tremendous amount of energy stored in a bountiful root system, and most plants recover quickly. If there is damage in an amount that you are uncomfortable accepting, please let us know so that we can take steps necessary to make it right.
