The Blueray is self pollinating but will do better with another earl mid season or mid season variety. Blue berries grow best in organic, well drained acid soil. They prefer full sun. Plant your blue berries 4’-8’ apart. It is widely planted in the Midwest and Northeast and is very dependable in cold regions.
