We are sold out of the Fargesia ‘Dracocephala’ at this time.
Fargesia ‘Dracocephala’ is a vigorous, rapid growing and cold hardy clumping bamboo from China. Dense, slightly weeping habit. Wind tolerant; Makes an excellent solid screen. Prefers organic soils with good drainage. Thrives in sun but also tolerates shade.
High heat mixed with high humidity would probably be fatal for the Fargesia, so this might not be a plant for those in the southeast states. Try instead, any of our Bambusa multiplex or Thamnocalamus.
