Glenora Grape

The Glenora Grape is the first black seedless variety. The seedless bluish black berries grow on loose, well-filled clusters. They have smooth, thin skin with sweet and spicy, highly-flavored flesh. The fruit is of a superior quality and it keeps well on the vine. Glenora has the odd trait of being a bit of a flavor-mixer. It can be foxy and very much American in character some years and very firm, meaty and much like the European Vinifera in other years. Luckily, both ways are just delicious! It is a highly vigorous plant with medium productivity, ripening in late August or early September, about 20 days before Concord. Hardy to approximately -10F, in zones 5-8.

There’s nothing quite like homegrown grapes on a warm summer day. Their sweetness and burst of flavor are unmatched! Grape vines are an attractive addition to any garden and can be trained to grow up arbors and around fences where they can create a living barrier or enclosed space.

We grow several different types of grapes including table grapes, seedless grapes and the ever-popular concord grapes.
