Return Policy for Online Live Plant Sales

At Maya Gardens, we strive to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase and that your plants arrive healthy and alive. Below is our return policy for live plants:

  1. Satisfaction Guarantee
    First and foremost, we guarantee that your plants will arrive in healthy condition. Any plant that arrives dead or severely damaged will be replaced for free, including shipping. This includes any order that is delayed in transit, regardless of whose fault it is. Please send us a photo of the damaged plant within 48 hours.
    If you receive the wrong plant, we will replace it with the correct item for free, including shipping.
  2. Non-Returnable Items
    We cannot accept returns or replacements for:
    • Plants that have been improperly cared for after arrival.
    • Plants that experience minor cosmetic damage (e.g., a few yellow leaves) during transit.
  3. Conditions for Returns or Replacement
    To qualify for a refund or replacement:
    • You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your plant.
    • Include photos of the plant, packaging, and any visible damage for verification.
    • The plant must not have been transplanted, altered, or exposed to extreme environmental conditions after arrival.
  4. Refund or Replacement Process
    • Contact Us: Email at info@mayagardensinc.com within 48 hours of delivery.
    • Provide Documentation: Submit photos and details of the issue.
    • Resolution: Once approved, we will either:
      • Send a replacement plant at no extra cost, including shipping.
      • Issue a refund to your original payment method.
  5. Shipping Costs
    • Refunds for damaged or incorrect items will include shipping costs, if applicable.
    • If a return is requested for reasons unrelated to damage or error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  6. Exceptions
    We reserve the right to deny refunds or replacements if:
    • The plant’s condition is due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather-related damage after delivery).
    • Claims are made outside the 48-hour window after delivery.
