Often called “Switchgrass” or “Prairie Fire”, this grass will provide color and texture through the year. Growing up to 4-6 feet tall, this sturdy specimen has weeping leaves that turn blue-green in spring and changing to a deep burgundy red in early summer. The flowers are feathery complimenting its upright growth habit which makes this grass a real eye-catcher in your landscape and has beautiful seed heads in autumn It can be used as an accent feature, in mass planting or any general use in your garden.
