Rhododendrons grow best in cooler areas where they are not exposed to hot afternoon summer sun. They like slightly moist, acidic soil.

Beautiful purple blooms will start your spring off with a burst of color. In April, it boasts 4-9 blooms per branch along with evergreen leaves which change to purple and orange as winter approaches. This prolific shrub is compact and would work well in a smaller garden maintaining a 6 foot height and span. It is perfect for a natural boarder or specimen plant.
