Lilacs are popular spring ornamentals. They are upright shrubs with purple, fragrant pyramidal blooms. They make a beautiful addition to borders, hedges and container gardens. Naturally deer resistant, they grow best with full sun and partial shade and well-drained soil and grow between 5-12 feet tall. Lilacs are great for fresh flower arrangements.
The Josee Lilac is also called the Josee Re-blooming Lilac because it will continue to bloom through the summer months, up to three blooming cycles a year. It has lovely sweetly fragrant lilac-pink flowers that can tolerate warmer climates. This hardy shrub stays relatively small and provides stunning color that can work in smaller spaces, growing between 4 - 6 feet in height and width. It makes a nice shrub or hedge and is relatively low maintenance.
