'Deaodar' Himalayan Cedar
The Deodar Cedar is an evergreen conifer with a weeping habit. It is often used as a specimen, street tree or bonsai tree. The Deodar can grow to 40-70 feet tall by 20-40 feet wide, forming a pyramidal shape. The name deodar translates to "timber of the gods" in Sanskrit. This tree is sacred in Hinduism. It's native region is the Himalayas. Plant in full sun to part shade in well draining organic soil.
