Bashania Fargesii 'Wind Break Bamboo'

Bashania fargesii is a high elevation, mountain  bamboo native to central China.  Its has very strong and erect blue to green culms, making it a perfect wind break or hedge.   It’s long leaves are somewhat reminiscent of Pseudosasa japonica.  Wind Break bamboo is a vigorous runner, making it idea for erosion control along stream banks and hillsides,  or for filling in a fast hedge or screen.

The last photo is an example of a #1 (1 gallon) Bashania Fargesii 'Wind Break Bamboo', however, it is not the exact plant that you will receive. Your plant will be approximately 1-2 years old, 1'-3' tall, with 1-3 culms (canes).
