'Primus White' Current
The Primus currant is a compact bush bearing long clusters of white currants. It bears up to 20 lbs of fruit per bush and is absolutely the sweetest fruit of all currants. Hardy in zones 3-8.

Health Benefits
Currants have a wide ranges of health benefits. Currants, especially black currants, are a powerhouse of benefits! They are high in antioxidants, vitamin C, protein, fiber, and many other vitamins and minerals including magnesium and potassium. Currants are delicious in jams, juices, sauces, mixed with other fruit, and dried.
Growing Tips
Currants grow easily in the Northwest, all over the west coast and U.S. In fact, there are some Ribes species that are native to our area! They are hardy plants that can survive well here. Plant them in fertile, well-drained soil and watch them thrive.
Height: 4'-6', but can be kept smaller with some pruning.
Minimum temperature: Hardy to -40ºf to -50ºf.

Pollination requirements None. It is self fertile.

The last photo is an example of a #2 (2 gallon) Primus White Currant, however, it is not the exact plant that you will receive. Your plant will be approximately 2 years old and 2'-4' tall. Plants shipped in late Fall through early Spring may be pruned back. They may not have foliage as well.
