Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Little Bunny'
Another name for this is “Fountain Grass”. The long erect culms of serrated leaves, produce pink, purple or white bristly flowers that weep in a fountain shape, hence the name. Makes a nice contrast when used in rock gardens, borders, foundation plantings, or in perennial beds. This attractive grass adds color, texture and graceful movement to your garden. Growing in spreading clumps, the “Little Bunny” is a warm ornamental grass that remains lovely through the winter months. Foliage turns golden russet in fall. Adds interest and texture to containers. Pollination and Ripening
It does not need pollination for the purpose of growing, thriving, or maintaining their ornamental appeal. Pollination is only relevant if you’re intentionally breeding or collecting seed — which isn’t typical for this cultivar.
