Pleioblastus Simonii Bamboo
The long, narrow foliage on the Pleioblastus simonii grows off of very straight culms. Most leaves are green, but an occasional leaf can be variegated green and white. It is a medium sized bamboo, growing to about 20′. It is a great choice for erosion control or as wind break in a highly windy area, especially along coastal areas as it will take salt air.
