Rhododendrons grow best in cooler areas where they are not exposed to hot afternoon summer sun. They like slightly moist, acidic soil.

The Taurus is a champion among Rhododendrons winning “Rhododendron of the Year” on numerous occasions. In winter dark reddish-black spots nestle inside rich green leaves, and in the spring, these buds burst into a splash of ruby red flowers. If you look closely, you can see darker flecks on the petals which add even more interest to this magnificent shrub. Cold hardy, this plant is a must for your yard.
