Beers Black Fig

The Beers Black fig is a dwarf growing tree, to 3’-5’. Its fruit is medium sized with violet skin and a reddish-pink center. It is very sweet, which makes it an excellent choice for fresh eating. It is also the most popular choice for drying. It is self pollinating and can fruit twice a year. One light crop in the spring and the second, heavy crop in the fall. The Beers Black will do best in full sun with well drained soil.
