Kiwi - Abbott Female
The Abbott Kiwi (Actinidia Deliciosa ‘Abbott’) is a vigorous vine with medium sized oblong fruit. Its fruit has brownish skin, soft hairs and light green flesh. Nice flavor, stores well. Heavy yields, it ripens in October-November. It is a female and requires the Fuzzy Male Kiwi to set fruit. Prefers good drainage.
Height: Twining vine or climbing shrub reaching 30 ft but can be kept smaller with some pruning.
Minimum temperature: Hardy to 10ºf -15ºf.
