Fargesia robusta ‘Wolong'

Fargesia robusta 'Wolong' is still some what of a rare bamboo. It makes a narrow screen, being taller, more upright and more robust than some of the other Fargesia's, particularly nitida and murielae. Ours are planted in the full sun, easily taking over 100º f. Large, dark green foliage and light green culms. New shoots are red. This bamboo adds great color to any garden. It makes a nice privacy hedge without spreading.
