Pollination and Ripening
Pollination and Ripening
It is a self-pollinating variety. It does not require a second plant for pollination. However, planting multiple raspberries may improve fruit set and increase yield. The Kokanee typically ripens in early to mid-summer, usually in July, depending on your local climate. The berries mature quickly, making them a great choice for gardeners looking for an early summer harvest.
USDA Zones/Minimum Temperature
USDA Zones/Minimum Temperature
It thrives in USDA hardiness zones 4 to 8, making it suitable for a wide range of climates. It can tolerate minimum temperatures down to -30°F (-34°C), though it does best in areas with milder winters and cool summers.
