The ‘Lewis’ raspberry is one of the largest available. It has large sized, bright red fruit with very good flavor. In the Northwest it ripens mid June to mid July. It will do well in WA, OR and CA, or other raspberry-growing areas where winter temperatures don’t fall much below zero degrees Fahrenheit. The ‘Lewis’ has very low chill hour requirements.

Pollination and Ripening
Pollination and Ripening
It is a self-pollinating raspberry. It doesn't require another plant for fruit production. Planting more than one variety can increase yield and fruit quality, as cross-pollination can boost berry production. The Lewis ripens in mid-summer, typically in June to July, depending on the climate and growing conditions. The fruit matures early, allowing for a bountiful summer harvest.
