Phyllostachys Decora Bamboo

The Decora bamboo is a cold hardy giant timber reaching up to 30′ and hardy to -10°F.  It performs very well under stress of desert heat,  drought, or cold. It has massive drooping leaves on straight, upright culms.  It is a native to the Yangtze valley of China. The decora shoots up early in the year, with colorful culm sheaths and red to purple new shoots.

Minimum temperature:  Hardy to -10°F
USDA zone 6-10.
Light:  Full sun.
Culm:  Green to yellow/orange in full sun.
Uses:  Hedge, screen, grove, specimen.
Distribution:  Kiangsu China.
Spread:  Running.

The last photo is an example of a #1 (1 gallon) Phyllostachys decora, however, it is not the exact plant that you will receive. Your plant will be approximately 1-2 years old,  1'-2' tall, with 1-3 culms (canes).
