Phyllostachys Heteroclada Purpurata 'Water' Bamboo

As the name implies, this is a bamboo that can take very wet conditions, even standing water, due to the fact that the culms and roots  both have hollow air channels.   It does very well in sites that other bamboos would perish.  Slender zigzag culms (canes) that turn to a dark grey green  color.
