Syringa vulgaris 'Wonderblue'
Lilacs are upright shrubs with purple, fragrant pirimidal blooms. They naturally attract bees, butterflies and birds to your garden and work well as a low hedge. Naturally deer resistant, they grow best with full sun and partial shade and well-drained soil and grow between 5-10 feet tall.
This compact shrub is perfect for a smaller space or container plant. Growing from 3-5 feet tall, it is often called “Little Boy Blue Lilac”, It is highly fragrant and its blooms have 5 petals rather than 4, which makes the clusters especially full and showy. The flowers begin in the deep purples and bloom into a soft light blue adding depth to your garden. It makes a perfect border plant or star specimen.
