‘Tulameen' Red Raspberry

The Tulameen is an introduction from British Columbia. It produces enormous, light red, flavorful fruit. The Tulameen has an extended summer season, from July through August, fruiting for almost 60 days. It is excellent for fresh eating, jams/jellies and pies.

Raspberries are easy to grow in a wide verity of soils.

Tulameen Red Raspberry

Soil: Normal to rich, well drained.
Hardiness: Zone 6-9. 
Height:  4'-6'
Minimum temperature: Hardy to -10ºf.
Light: Full sun.

The last photo is an example of  our containers of Tulameen Red Raspberries, however, they are not the exact plant(s) that you will receive.  Our plants are containerized and not bare root. 

The plant(s) you are purchasing are grown in individual containers, which are removed and your plant(s) are shrink wrapped in plastic for shipping purposes.  Your plant(s) will be approximately 1-2 years old and 1’-2'tall.

Plants shipped late Fall to early Spring may be pruned back and with out foliage.


     
                       
               

Pollination and Ripening

The Tulameen is self-pollinating. Although it does not require another raspberry plant for fruit production, planting multiple raspberry plants can enhance yields through improved pollination. It ripens in mid to late summer, typically from July to August, depending on the climate.
