Pollination and Ripening
Pollination and Ripening
It is self-pollinating, so it does not require another raspberry plant to produce fruit. However, having multiple plants can enhance fruit production and yield. The Willamette ripens in early to mid-summer, typically from late June to early July, depending on climate and growing conditions.
USDA Zones/Minimum Temperature
USDA Zones/Minimum Temperature
It grows very well in USDA hardiness zones 4 to 9. It can tolerate cold temperatures down to approximately -20°F (-29°C), making it suitable for colder, more northern climates.
